A new solution to improve customer satisfaction, build trust and loyalty, and drive more business
To improve the live animal transportation experience, IATA is developing a modern automated solution “LAR Verify” with a vision to continue the development of the Autocheck concepts. Like Timatic and the Travel Center on the passenger side, the IATA LAR Verify solution will ensure timely and prompt availability of the latest information corresponding to each live animal shipment. The information includes LAR state and operator variations, animal classifications and container requirements, marking, labeling and documentation requirements. A user-friendly and interactive portal will be available to access the up-to-date information. Through the use of real-time APIs, Transport logistics and cargo management systems will integrate LAR Verify functionality and consume its data.
IATA LAR Verify will help enhance operational safety and gain efficiency at various stages of the live animal shipments journey, including preparation, booking, planning, acceptance, and handling. Carriers, Freight Forwarders, and Shippers will benefit from improved live animal shipment compliance with state and operator variations, and technical instructions including container, documentation, and labeling requirements.
The first release of IATA LAR Verify solution will be showcased during the next World Cargo Symposium (WCS) Dubai, UAE, 15 - 17 April 2025.
