Capturing the opportunities of Modern Airline Retailing

In 2022, IATA and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) interviewed and surveyed airline leaders across a vast range of functions encompassing distribution, commercial strategy, IT and Technology, Digital and eCommerce, Pricing and RM, 

The resulting study aims to identify the value creation ambition, the investment requirements and the roadmap for the industry transition to Modern Airline Retailing.

As airlines are rethinking their retail approach and the necessary evolution of their commercial organizations, the transition is expected to be resource-intensive, but one that will pay off.
