PROS: Un-Disrupting the Travel Industry with Data from EveryMundo

As travel re-emerges from the recent slowdown, there is a vast amount of real-time data that can predict everything from forecast and willingness-to-pay to patterns in shopping for ancillaries. This data comes from sources like search engines, OTAs, and airline websites and can be harnessed to make the air travel experience less expensive and more efficient for both the airline and the passenger alike. 

When Seth Cassel and Anton Diego founded EveryMundo, a Miami-based direct channel and fare marketing technology company in 2006, their intention was just that. They saw a huge opportunity to leverage data from third parties to track consumer behavior that could positively impact business decisions.

"Our mantra is to un-disrupt the industry, to return that power to its rightful owner, the brands, by providing the technology necessary so that they can remain ahead of pace in the arms race that is acquisition technology, or more generally, just commerce technology in the airline and broader travel space," Seth said. 

The PROS acquisition of EveryMundo in November 2021 means that the reach PROS has within the metaverse extends to brands in the travel space and enables broader data visibility, including across airlines and travel search engines.

In the near future, PROS AI and machine learning capabilities will merge with EveryMundo's technology to build more personalized offers across the travel universe. Travel is a complex, hyper-competitive industry, where the competition is intense, and the offer has become so much more than just a seat. The only constant is change, with PROS and EveryMundo committing to evolve together.
